I love those days so much. I wish I still lived in a state where rain came more frequently because, to me, there’s nothing more rewarding than lounging after a long day with some tea and a book. Here are the novels I used to read all the time when I was blessed with that weather (I also included a few writings that I wish I had been able to divulge in while it rained). Happy reading!! X
- “The Picture of Dorian Gray” by Oscar Wilde
- “Flowers for Algernon” by Daniel Keyes
- “Milk and Honey” by Rupi Kaur
- “Anna and the French Kiss” by Stephanie Perkins
- “The Outsiders” by S.E. Hinton
- “A Walk to Remember” by Nicholas Sparks
- “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings” by Maya Angelou
- “Along for the Ride” by Sarah Dessen
- “It’s Kind of a Funny Story” by Ned Vizzini
- “The Spectacular Now” by Tim Tharp
- “All the Light We Cannot See” by Anthony Doerr
- “All the Bright Places” by Jennifer Niven
- “To Kill a Mockingbird” by Harper Lee (although the sequel pisses me off to no end…… we’re going to let that slide for now)
- “The Sky is Everywhere” by Jandy Nelson
